The ERP 120 A transceiver associated with a built-in air antenna and connected with a BALOGH control board enables to read / write the TAL electronic tags

ERP18 1

R/W head intended for reading/writing to/from tags TAL with a diameter 20 to 30 mm. It is embedded with an air antenna (i.e. omnidirectional field), but has to be connected to an appropriate Balogh control board (suffix: V).

Interface

CEPR96

The CEPR 96/24 is a Eurocard-format programmable board featuring:

  • one channel to control a Balogh transceiver intended for reading/writing data from/to OMA, OMX, OIR, OIB, GIE, TAL, TAI, TAM, tags,
  • 16 parallel led-indicated and isolated inputs (green leds),
  • 16 parallel led-indicated outputs (red leds) isolated and protected against short circuits,
  • one serial RS-422/RS-485 interface (or RS-232-like: V24 at levels 0 and 5 VDC),
  • one serial RS-232 interface (V24 at levels -3 ... -12 and +3 ...+12 VDC),
  • six user-definable switches.

Both serial interfaces support the JBUS ®, UNITELWAY ®, 3964R ®, DF1 ® protocols.
The software is stored in a battery-backed RAM; programming by using the ST .LAD PC software.

BIDP170

It handles up to two independent R/W channels (both simultaneously read / write data from / to Balogh tags);
the channels may differ from each other in tags type.

BIET170

Slave interface handling 2 independent R/W channels.
Exchanges occur over an Ethernet link (baud rate: 10 /100 Mbauds with autobaud).

Protocols:
BIET 170 supports several DIP-switch selectable messaging protocols:

  • TCP/IP + specialty protocol which services simultaneous 8-Kbyte requests on both channels,
  • MODBUS/TCP ® which enables to read (resp. write) 125 (resp.120) words per request,
  • EtherNet/IP ® (Allen Bradley - Rockwell).
